Corporate Compliance
It is the policy of Underdue Social Services Inc. to provide services that fully comply with all federal, state, and local regulations and applicable laws, and to adhere to explicit ethical standards throughout all facets of the organization’s operations. Underdue Social Services, Inc. will ensure these conditions of operation are met through an organized and ongoing comprehensive corporate compliance program.
Elements of Corporate Compliance Program:
- Corporate Compliance Officer – Oversees the compliance with Federal, State and Local laws, in regard to all employment practices, financial accountability, human resource policies and procedures, governance, physical safety and staff development.
- Standing Committees – The agency has a number of standing committees that meet on regularly to review Ethics, Health Safety and Accessibility, Quality Assurance and Programming.
- Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) – The agency is required to maintain certification by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), every three years, which includes yearly reports for review.
- Annual Certified Financial Review – The agency has a certified financial review every year conducted by a CPA.
- APS Healthcare Audits – The agency is audited for compliance of all State and Federal regulations regarding Medicaid and delivery of services.
- Quarterly oversight by the Management Team and Advisory Board.
- Utilization of Staff, Consumer, Referral Source, Funding Source and Community Input.
