We provide services to girls of average intelligence who are status offenders or who have been removed from their home due to abuse, neglect or abandonment. Our program requires that there is adequate funding available to meet the girl’s physical, emotional and educational needs.

Youth are referred to Embracing Arms by the Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) and the Department of Family and Services (DFCS). Prior to admittance the child must be approved by the State Provider Relations Unit or the Department of Juvenile Justice.

An application for admission includes all of the following:
- the completed application
- pyschological evaluation
- psychiatric evaluation
- psychosexual evaluation
- social summary
- current placement treatment plan
- any necessary additional information

After the Admissions Team has reviewed a child’s application, the Intake Coordinator will schedule an interview or contact you for more information. Again, to submit an online referral, click on the link on the right sidebar to complete a referral form.
